Tarunesh Mathur

Tarunesh Mathur brings over 16 years of diverse experience across field operations, customer service, business transformation, and strategic leadership. Before joining Schindler, he was with Tata Motors, where he built a strong foundation in execution and customer focus.

A Schindler leader for more than a decade, Tarunesh has held key national and regional roles from exports and sales to field operations, and most recently, leading the Existing Installation (EI) business. His cross-functional journey gives him a deep, ground-up understanding of the organization and its people.

Known for building high-performing teams and driving sustainable growth, he leads with clarity, urgency, and a sharp focus on culture, service, and long-term value creation.

Tarunesh holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi.

He now leads Schindler India’s next phase of growth with a clear focus on people, performance, and lasting impact.
